A unique seaside town
Hastings and St. Leonards is a delightful brew of old and new with its rich history dating right back to the Norman Conquest. Graced with miles of coastline and more than its fair share of sunshine … it is the perfect place for a seaside break. From the Medieval Old Town, with its higgledy-piggledy array of timber-framed houses, to a sea front with the oldest remaining beach-launched fishing fleet, there is much to see and enjoy along this slice of the coast.
Whether visiting on business or purely for pleasure, Hastings House is at the centre of it all and we look forward to giving you a warm welcome and introducing you to our seaside town.
Something for everyone
In and around St. Leonards there are also galleries, museums, cinemas and theatres to visit and Hastings House is close to many fine local restaurants, pubs and cafés. The countryside that surrounds the town offers cliff-top walks, woodlands and wetlands. Beyond that, of course, there is the seashore, a fabulous natural playground that holds the promise of gloriously sunny days in summer and some spectacular storms in winter.
