About Hastings House

Built in 1855 as a guest house run by Elizabeth Shakespeare the first owner, it has been used as a guest house in Hastings St Leonards ever since.

Fabulous views towards Warrior Square gardens, the beach, sea and Hastings Pier.

All our luxury boutique rooms are individually designed with crisp white linen sheets, luxury duvet, large flat screen T.V. with free view channels, Dvd player, tea and coffee facilities.

Hastings House is open all year round and we have a licensee bar / lounge for hotel residents. We adopt a totally non smoking policy throughout the house.

Parking around Warrior Square is Free up to 2 hours between 10.00hrs and 16.00hrs, and free overnight parking from 16.00hrs to 10.00hrs. Cycles can be stored overnight within the hotel premises.

Pets are welcome with prior arrangement at a surcharge of £5.00 per night.

Breakfast

As much as possible our breakfast ingredients are sourced locally.

Our handmade sausages and cured bacon are from the local butcher in Norman Road , our eggs are from Carpenters Barn farm Nr. Sedlescombe.

We serve freshly home-cooked English breakfast to order.

Vegetarian options are always available; other dietary needs can also be catered for with a 24 hours advance notice.

Breakfast is served between 8.00am and 9.00am.
