Breakfast:
What better than a tasty and wholesome start to the day and Hastings House has a fine breakfast menu offering you a choice to suit all tastes. From a hearty and healthy full-English breakfast sourced from local suppliers to vegetarian options or the sweet and simple alternatives of cereal, fruits and yoghurt.
Afternoon Tea:
On request we would be delighted to serve an afternoon tea for you and your guests. Fresh, hot scones with clotted cream and a choice of preserves or a generous selection of home made biscuits served with piping hot tea or coffee. Please just let us know the day before and we’ll have it all ready and waiting.
Snacks & Sandwiches:
If you would like to have a light bite to eat upon your arrival we would be happy to organise snacks and sandwiches for you, please just let us know when booking and leave the rest to us.
Evening Meal:
Perfect for those on business who’d rather stay in and crack on with work. Hastings House is able to serve a delicious evening meal. We would ask that this is requested at booking so that we have the opportunity to discuss what you would like and how you would like it. Guests are more than welcome to make use of our dining area or may choose to have their meal served in their room.
Picnics:
Spring and summer are the perfect time to head to the beach and what better than a picnic on the shore. Hastings House will put together the perfect picnic hamper for you with cutlery, crockery, napkins and corkscrew all included. Please let us know in advance if you fancy a picnic and all we need to know is how many people to cater for, what sort of budget you have, and what sort of food and drink you would like to be included.
Pure Romance:
For those romantics out there, we would be happy to make sure that your stay is all hearts and roses! We can organise champagne on ice, roses, music, chocolates and a selection of tempting finger-food to be in place just ready and waiting for you in your room. Please just let us know when booking.
Entertaining:
Hastings House is delighted to open its dining room to its guests and their guests for a fine buffet and a choice of wines, champagnes, spirits and soft drinks. This is no standard fare, but rather a selection of tempting and delicious finger-food created and home cooked by the proprietors. If you would like to book the dining room for a special gathering of friends or business associates, please discuss this with us when booking.
