About Us
Prior to buying Hastings House Bed and Breakfast, Seng Loy was General Manager of 26 bedrooms coaching inn hotel in the Cotswold. During his time there Seng oversee the transformation of the business and achieving recognition in the Egon Ronay gastro pub guide 2006.
Seng Loy (pictured with wife Elisabeth below) has always had a burning desire to run his own, learnt his trade managing 26 to 900 bed hotels in London, Birmingham and the Cotswolds.
We scoured other coastal towns across the country, including Scarborough, Brighton, Eastbourne, Bexhill, 1066 Battle and Folkestone, before finally settling on St Leonards on Sea, Hastings.
Hastings was chosen because of its potential, with great views into Warrior Square Gardens and the sea.
We are both very excited about the challenges ahead and see Hastings, as a serious destination location.
Employing local tradesmen to carry out the refurbishments, Hastings House Boutique Bed and Breakfast will offer well designed luxury bed rooms with flat screen TVs and DVD players, mini fridge and FREE wireless internet connections throughout.
I hope to bring my wealth of experience and transform the property into a contemporary style Bed and Breakfast to cater for both the business and leisure guests.

Refurbishment Update
We have started our refurbishment in Feb 08, to develop another 4 en suite boutique rooms and large suites.
Over the last year we have created 2 boutique rooms- no 1 and 8 and the feedback from our guest have been very positive that we have decided to continue with this development.
The 4 new boutique rooms are now ready to take your booking..
The final stages of the bedroom refurbishment,
starting on 19th May for the next 5 weeks, room 2 and 3 will undergo the same treatment as the others.
